Even when moving to a floor bed, young children still need the firm support and protective features of a baby mattress. The “Waldbrise” children’s mattress was specially developed for the early transition to a floor bed. Its baby side meets the requirements of the baby mattress standard, in practical children’s mattress sizes from 90 × 200 cm to 140 × 200 cm. The carefully selected firmness helps prevent the head from sinking in too deeply and is intended to reduce the risk of CO₂ rebreathing.

Mattress core – from toddlerhood through the teenage years

The high-quality cold-foam core is designed to support your child as they grow and promote healthy development of the head and spine:

• Designed for floor beds: The construction provides very good air circulation to help prevent heat and moisture build-up—an important benefit for beds close to the floor.

• Reversible with two firmness levels: Two different sleeping sides (soft and medium-firm) provide age-appropriate support from toddlerhood through the teenage years.

• Baby side made to the baby mattress standard: The firm sleeping surface is designed to help prevent excessive sinking.

• Durable and stable: With a density of 35 kg/m³, the cold-foam core is designed to retain its shape and supports a maximum weight of 70 kg.

Child-friendly details and suitable for allergy sufferers

The Waldbrise features child-friendly safety details and tested materials for a comfortable sleep environment:

• Safety zipper: The zipper has no pull tab, helping to prevent children from getting trapped or swallowing small parts.

• Breathable viscose cover: OEKO-TEX® certified, soft on the skin and suitable for allergy sufferers. The cover can be removed and washed for hygienic care.

• Made in Austria: Manufactured in Austria and tested for harmful substances.
